Registration is open for the 2016 Permaculture Teachers Retreat at Omega

September 19, 2016

Registration is now open for the October Professional Development Retreat.  Space is limited to 30 participants. Sign up today to hold your spot.

Day 1: Social Justice & Diversity Training with Relational Uprising
Day 2: Creating Community PDC Quality/Standards
Day 3: Peer to Peer Cross Training

We are so excited to host trainers Lucien Demaris and Cedar Landsman, to lead Monday’s day-long diversity training. From the trainers: “Relational training for organizations helps build a deep understanding and experience of diverse, interdependent community, with all the gifts and challenges that come along with it. This includes supporting groups to intentionally shift culture and undermine systemic racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia in their community. We come from the perspective that we don’t gain justice by merely increasing representation through tokenism, nor by shaming individuals for systemic problems. Rather, we gain justice from learning how to cultivate a culture shift in our community, deconstructing oppressive beliefs and stories and coming to embody our shared values.”

The genuine cost of offering this training is $250 per person.  Free PAN membership to all who contribute at the $250 level or higher.
